Basic Installation of Ubuntu Linux 6.10:
- Ubuntu Linux has a great community of support, it is updated regularly
- You can get Ubuntu from www.ubuntu.com. They offer ISOs as downloads & also free CD’s (including shipping)
- Installation was very easy and stress free, I used the Alternative Install CD which means it did not boot into the live CD feature. Install detected both LAN & WiFi, WiFi connected during installation and configured itself using DHCP
- Everything seemed to work out of the box! Once I logged in it had detected about 200MB worth of updates through WiFi connection, downloaded and installed all updates perfectly
Setting up additional features for Ubuntu Linux 6.10
- Mouse and Touchpad worked fine, attached USB mouse detected fine and switched automatically. Screen resolution was maxed to specs by default, not very much to do post install!
Unresolved issues
- None!
Configuration Files
- No editing of config files needed!

The requirements for the program states it needs windows:
* Pentium processor or equivalent
* Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, or XP
* 64 MB of RAM
* 16 or 32 bit color display at 800 x 600 resolution
* DirectX 9.0
You could possibly use Wine (http://www.winehq.com/) to run it in Linux, but it would probably take a while to configure it correctly.
Hope the info helps

Just wondering if you have gotten the RCA video output to work, because I havn’t been able to get mine to. Just wondering if others are having any issues hookin’ this relic up to a TV. Thanks for the info by the way.
