Have you ever had a Nero Image file and you have needed to access it in Ubuntu? Well of at Ubuntu Geek they have a great how to on converting a .nrg (Nero) file to a .iso file in Ubuntu0107000000058938.jpg

Install nrg2iso in Ubuntu

sudo apt-get install nrg2iso

Using nrg2iso

Usage

nrg2iso [nrg-file] [iso-file]

Example

nrg2iso image.nrg image.iso

    I don’t know if the above comment will solve my problem: I now use an iMacPro/MOS X after changing from NEC/Windows. Prior to making the change I saved all my data using Nero compression backup package. Nero, not being MAC compatible, presents me with the problem of how to decompress my files (research work> .doc and photos> .jpg) and convert them for use in the MAC environment. Desperation here! Thanks.
